The Division of Solid State Physics is based in the Department of Physics (Fysicum) building, which is situated on the Faculty of Engineering campus north of the city center.

The Division staff and laboratories are situated in the Q and C wings of Fysicum. Access to the Fysicum building is possible through several entrances marked on the adjacent map. All rooms have a label that starts with a letter corresponding to the wing, followed by a number where the first digit denotes the floor at which the office/lab space is situated.
